Monkey Off My Back

Well for now one monkey is off my back, pain. Pain has lessened for now and just aches and normal life pain has resumed. Not debilitating horrid life draining pain, people even comment I don't look as weary. Last night was the first night in a very long time that I have slept without pain waking me up in the night.

As I have moved throughout the day things such as putting on pants no longer requires an insane amount of planning and effort. Before, I would have to find something to lean as I gingerly put on one leg and then the painful next leg. Tying my shoes has been easy. Bending over to pick up something has been a relief, literally there are so many small movements I knew were painful and limiting me that have now become once again normal.

As crazy as it sounds it's been a lot of work to continue to write each day sometimes I get home at 9 pm when I sit down and write to keep up with what I committed to do. I like so many others fear failure and when I decide to do something it is concrete, I can let things go when I must but I generally am all in if I set my mind to it.

So, with there only being a few more days left of writing I relish the time to just relax and chill with my family soon. I will return as I have time if that happens...life seems to be in one giant time vortex right now. As soon as Monday hits and I prep for the week it's suddenly Friday night and I wonder how I got here.

I know how I end up at Friday, when you enter the studio at 8 or 9 am and never peek out the door until 7:30 pm or later life has a tendency to fly by. Reminding myself that this too shall pass, I am very happy and proud to have had overwhelming support in what's been nearly a year at the studio already! WOW!

Two days left of scripting...
